I'm sure about both, especially Dhumm, which we played in SC just a few hours after it appeared on Halloween 2008. One person in the group had the mini Dhumm and he wasn't the only one. Well, I'll admit, 2008 was nothing like the number of players in 2026.

But that doesn't change the current topic: what if the mini isn't bugged and doesn't end up in the chest... where is it? edit: where are they?

Wintersday 2007 ran from Dec 21st 2007 to Jan 3rd 2008. Note both posts being Jan 2nd.

It not having dropped yet is no indication of it being bugged, especially with a dev having specifically commented on their legitimacy. I'm inclined to side more with speed clear ele on this one, that it may not be a chest drop at all. But even if it's a chest drop...let's look at something like the non-monthly everlasting tonics from the zaishen chest. I've got the title maxed on 2 accounts and have never seen one. 40,000 openings, no drop. Does that mean they're bugged and don't drop at all? Obviously not. They're just rare.

Good point about zaishen chest tonics. I’ve observed 2 full zkey titles without seeing any eternal blade, everlasting tonic, etc…. That’s a lot of chest openings. Doesn’t mean it’s bugged.

Regardless, there are only two ways to obtain it outside of the bug:

• Extremely rare; you can only get it by luck from a chest. But there were also no individual performances.
• Technical; credit to whoever figures it out, the rest will follow.

If it is as rare as mini ghostly hero and/or mini polar bear, then yeah it might take awhile for it to drop. If they made it THAT rare to get, I applaud them for that as that is how it should be and SHOULD have been for crystalline drop rates for example.

Honestly, i was just surprised seeing it drop in NM. I was half wondering if the update had changed the loot tables for nm vs. hm.

If its like eotn dungeons, loot table is the same but you get x2 items in HM

lvl 1 first run today, aparently lvl 20 foes drowps items now, lets check lvl 12 :p

I hadn't gotten a single weapon drop until today from this ghost, today drop x2 gold an purples so at least drop is increased, drop 3 items from chest instead of one (nm) ->

Perfect, I too was only running nm since I lack the skills to run it on HM with a 300-400ms (yay Australia ping) well atleast I’ll blame it on the ping even if there is a severe lack of skills on perfect ping

Could this mean preservation is now a viable skill, given the update states it targets the ally with lowest health percentage instead of ally at random ????

I don't think I've ever seen a Ghostly Staff drop from the Forsaken chest. But it's an Inspiration requirement. So, all requirements drop (17) or just the ones that drop from the Z chest (5, including Inspiration).

FYI these blood ghost that cast vampiric swarm with normal blood magic also cast Life transfer with 0 blood magic in Hard Mode.
