I see same users in this thread frequently post perf dual mod shields. Even I play all day never seen this stuff. This seems more frequent drop of high quality items sometimes with rare skins than normal. Are people using bots?
How did Guild Wars treat you today?

Some do some don't. If you play casually some few hours per day it is highly unlikely you will get these things to drop unless you are either extremely lucky or you keep trying for a long period of time. This being said, I know for a fact some people that have posted in this thread are botting, but I think most people don't.

totally agree, i go through heavy and light periods of play and for sure longer hours logged = more quality drops

Shaolin Tigerkick when chest running you can get lots of shields. When you do that every day for some time you can get some nice drops.
But theres people just pumping out q9 dual mods. As you see in sales thread. And often the skins match those of popular botted farm spots

It's a fair assumption, however know that this question has problems and is unlikely to get authentic responses.
I believe botting is not accepted by GW Legacy and admitting to it could likely have negative consequences for the legacy account and potentially the game account. I can provide some personal insight into my own play activities as I have recently been posting in this thread and also usually posting the same things to the selling threads. First off I do not use game automation unless you count having heroes flagged to aggressive. I wake early and typically play for 1-2 hours before I start work. Then if working from home will have a laptop on the side for minor game activities during downtime. When I get off work I start the grind by doing the easy zmissions/bounties on my 8 characters, once done I swap to my main and do it 9x more times for story book progress (i.e. slow speed booking) So for the Dryad Bow I listed recently I cleared Rragar's Menagerie at least 18 times (with pugs for the Zaishen Quest) and in all of that got 1 dryad bow. If you see Naamah King (Mesmer), that's the character I do 10x on.
TL:DR
Since botting has consequences people are not incentivized to share that information.
A S H N O D plays a lot and sells the lucky drops they get.
