Q8s can drop from the 1st of the 3 chests only and all three of those skins can drop from the keyless chests.....

Ohhh, that makes more sense. Otherwise I was gonna say maybe it's a duplicate-but-removed or unimplemented skin like Cracked Axes (Heket Axes) and Tattooed Blades (Tattooed Scimitars) but I wasn't familiar with it.

It would make daggers an inconsistency because
A) they are a physical weapon and
B) Factions drops dualvamp stats.
So in theory they should exist, right?

They don't and never have existed.
I too wish they existed, but they don't.
Think of it this way, dual vamp / zeal existed in prophecies, and were not included in the drop tables of the new dagger melee weapon, just on the melee weapon types proph already had.
Then NF came along and standardized weapon mods, kinda.

I've never seen any.
If no one else has, I've come up with 3 possible explanations as to why:
1)No daggers dropped in mausoleum.
2)Only oldschool skins dropped in mausoleum, thus there is nothing at all special about them.
3)They did drop but went under people's radars because they just weren't as obvious as triple mods or OS spears/scythes.
I am really not very familiar with the whole mausoleum topic, maybe somebody more knowledgeable can weigh in on this

yo boys, i recently got interested in inscr q8 swords. so specificly i was looking for q8 elemental swords and i found several threads stating they existed but i have yet to find an actual thread selling it or even showing it. do you guys got any screens of it or know for sure existing ones? afaik they only can drop in eotn Tarnished Coast .
were there other spots that could drop it prenerf, or was and is that the only place where it could and can drop?

i heard rumors that those few lvl 21 fire djinn in https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Turai%27s_Procession near gate of desolation may drop it, but not sure if it's true or not. Or maybe it's in kournan chests near them? They can drop q8 max. I'm just not positive on it being near kournan elementals, wiki just says desolation and later in nf.

It seems to me that before the release of EOTN, the rumor that NF Kournan elementals could drop them was based solely on the relationship: sword name = elemental, so elementals drop them.
Not only is getting it on NF very very very very very rare, but trying to farm it for req 8 is just madness and a big waste of time. Even if luck can strike anyone at any time.

Nope. Only level 16-20 mobs are able to drop max req8's.
