Oh I havent even had a chest spawn in about 100 runs aswell.... but I assume ghostly staves kinda proof they can drop. However, they need to drop from the foes and as we have yet to see them.... yikes

The mobs of the quest: A Good Deed, not drop Eternal skins (infos on wiki). Mobs drop Eternal theme only on UW (depend UW, not mobs on the quest). But, Terrorweb Dryder, yes (infos on Wiki) on all zones of the game, does not depend UW. From nearby chests of mobs originally from UW, drop Eternal theme, logic it takes the theme of weapons related to monsters (geographical origin + zone actuell).

If you search low requirement for Eternal theme, best choose is Terrorweb Dryder on NF and chestrun same place. But impossible drop: Eternal shields = tactics, command or motivation - Ghostly staves = Energy Storage, Soul Reaping and Inspiration.

Yeah i have done serval good deed farm , without success.

Tbh if the dream q8 tact eternal was possible, we must have seen one since the release of the quest.

I personally never heard of any over years so.. i doubt they drop.

But who knows? Maybe someday those smite will be generous

I'm glad to see this thread is still active. After a discussion with a friend we have a few questions :

* Is it possible to get a "multi prof" faction off-hand (Jug/Paper Fan/Plagueborn/Straw/Pronged fan). For exemple is it possible to get a paper fan req fast casting with an HSR or HCT on a non-mesmer attribute ? As far as we remember we have never seen something like that.

* My friend thinks he sold a bugged grey dye with a yellow inventory icon. I know bugged grey dye with a red inventory icon exist (I have a few of them), but I have never seen or heard of a yellow one.

Regarding the foci, it is not possible. For the foci that drop in the primary attributes, it is only possible to get mods linked to that profession (fast casting can get inspi/illu/dom mods on it for example). If you have an all attribute item like the Wayward Wand, then it is possible.

I very briefly recall having seen one or two on Guru back in the day but my memory is terrible.

So I put my gloves on, got my shovel out, and dug into the Guru Archives.

Since all of the pictures are gone and there was alot of subjects with "Mauso", the post details were deleted when they were closed.

So as far I know shields, focuses and swords still drop with max stats req 8.

My question is: Are there skins that dont drop today for mentioned weapons with max stats in req 8 ?

yes - basically any high level area exclusives like shadow blade/shield, emblazone defender, eternal shield, eternal blade... for some skins it is still not known or at least not publically if or if not they do still drop max q8 since not all drop locations are known. Some of them however can also drop in blue rarity and therefore can even drop from high level mobs in q8 (like magmas shield, eternal shield,...) it is an interesting subject - idk if there's a list somewhere

Edit: Emma lvl 17-20 for sure 21 almost unlikely

And q8 shadow weapons can TECHNICALLY still drop, as Shard Wolves are lvl20 on NM and HM. I am pretty sure they can drop goldies, and therefore also q8 shadows. But it is almost impossible to farm them effectively, as there are only 7 or 8 per FoW. But this is just my speculation so not 100% sure

I allways though menzies are only ones dropping shadow weapons, BUT i like being corrected if thats false.

And ye emblas drop, someone here legacy dropped one just past weeks (who was it, show urself!) pongmei chests are lvl20 and can drop any skin dropped there ofc in q8

If you take this list here there are only 8 swords in Nightfall, that can not drop in Gold q8

wiki says there are lvl 20 istani cultists in zehlon reach, they cant drop the tattooed?

They diodn't drop it in any req for me yet but might be bad luck. Ill just try it out for some runs.

I just did 8 runs. They havent even dropped a white item not even cash ... not sure if they drop anything at all.

Anyone could explain How drops were working pre nerf ? I wasnt playing back then. Were req 7/8 dropping just randomly like Q9’s do from all higher lvl mobs ?

This is a little list I had kicking around for OS skins that don't drop as Gold Q8 post nerf.

Several of these can drop as Purple Q8 from the first Kilroy's SF Keyless chest (Crysta, magmas, Eternal, etc).

I ask for any feedback to make any corrections to this list.

I think the lists right, and if someone proves gold shadow blade/shield drop from shard wolf it proves q8 i suppose, but ye according wiki they shouldnt drop shadow items.

But also id want to add to list sunqua blade in (needs proof), there been some discussion about mantids and their different types dropping one, maybe? or chests near them. (where else the max q7 etc couldve dropped back in day or was it nerfed?) But i hear everyone who farmed mantids outside nahpui never getting one, does other mantids in xaquang etc have different drops?

Also Str Req wooden bucklers obv never dropped max q8 i think, also offhands that never dropped q8 like Wooden chakrams, aureate chalice, knife idols, claw grim cestas, stone chakrams? Just if someone wonders "Does it exist"

I didn't add the Wooden Buckler, not that I don't agree, more listing by skin versus attribute nerfs.
