2025 New Items Drop Locations

    I finally got to see one with my own eyes, I am still searching all over Eye Of The North for one for myself, I look forward to dropping and will custo it as soon as I get it. Sad people are gate keeping in this day and age. (We all know warriors need that extra 20% damage.) Makes my search more fun I guess though! Anyone else had any luck on the hunt?

    I think it's kinda interesting, that so far everyone who got one keeps the location to himself or is even spreading false information about the drop.

    From all the stats so far, do we know or can we predict that the new weapons can also drop as max dmg q8? As in, same way all the current weapons can (sword can still drop as 15-22, but not axes anymore etc).

    Imagine the hype if/when a 15-22 q8 glacial blade drops 😮

    I'm not sure, can any shield/sword/focus drop in max gold q8 in EotN ? The level of mobs is too high imo

    For the PvP items, yeah q8 max should be possible, since many have dropped from Raptors at least. Some people have reported level 20 mobs dropping the new items in NF, which would probably mean that q8 is possible, but AFAIK there's no proof.

    Edit: nvm, raptors are lvl15 in NM so it shouldn't be possible there.

    Max Q8 items such as swords, shields and focus can drop from foes level 16-20.

    The majority of new skins have been found in HM or high level foes so not all new skins will be able to drop as Q8, only certain ones have been found from level 20s at least up to now.

    On the topic of swords found as Gold Q8 15-21s, they well be able to also drop as Q8 15-22.

    This paint skill is terrible. When you zoom in the only thing that has different background texture(ie no green on the ground), is the item name.. it’s weirdly only brown while the rest has it.

    Otherwise why would you crop only around the item and not show the screen fully?

    I wouldnt bet on q8. NM has shown, e.g. canthan chest in Pongmei, that it doesnt drop in some cases the new skin respectively q8 at all.

    First needs to be confirmed if it drops NM at all, then research if it drops in q8 to be conducted.

    Guys,
    I wish you would put the same effort in doing helpful drop research, as this threads original purpose demands, instead of investing your already limited mental capacity in sherlock holmes screenshot-analyses.
    Unless other players on this forum, members of my guild and myself want to positively contribute to this community and want to lead with good example.

    To really add further value to this thread, I can confirm that the glacial blade drops by summit or in locked chests near summits.
    I am sure that this will be confirmed by more players in the future, so that also the last haters and doubters will recognize that senpai Hate Core was once again right in his eternal wisdom ;). (just kidding I also had wrong ideas with e.g. ice imps).


    A further location that I can confirm for the glacial blade is a locked chest in Vloxen Excavations dungeon.

    I mean, why would Hate Core lie about this? The only reason could be sadism, but these kind of things are going to be verifiable very soon so you also have to be stupid to make false claims about a currently dropping weapon drop location... I haven't seen any indications that he is either a sadist or stupid, therefore I see no reason to doubt that his information is honest. Not only that, he is the first person to publicly give info about the blade, which is what contributing to the community means.

    Thanks Hate Core for doing it. It should be a trivial and expected thing to do, instead of hoarding fake money in a 20-year old game, but unfortunately it's not.

    First of all I have no reason to doubt Hate Core and thank you for sharing! Second, there is greenish pixels behind the Glacial Blade text and you should obviously expect more prominent green pixels behind the green text due to jpeg compression artifacts.

    Dont get me wrong: I didnt criticize the entire thread. I find the thread and the community overall awesome and great how we help each other here since weeks to do research.

    My criticism was regarding people who just doubt in my screenshots and information. Instead of appreciating that I share infos and not just keep it for myself and my guildies to exploit it. I reached a point in my life where giving becomes more enjoyable then taking. Yet I totally understand people like TongTong who were among the first to discover and not share the info. Probably I would have acted the same.

    And, yes I was way too dramatic with my post. I hope you got the sense of irony and exaggeration behind it. After all is a 20 year old game and no need to be too serious about all of this.

    Thanks for sharing, I totally am in the same position of giving rather than hoarding, much more fun to hunt as a community and share, but of course not everyone is the same. (understable if you want to make bank I guess)
