FYI Kilroy chest 2 dropped me a Q8 a little while back
Keep in mind that the Q8 Staff Drop Table is much different than other weapon types, as a result, they can drop from high level chests than a max q8 sword, shield or foci. This is how Q8 11-21 Staves have dropped from HM chests.
As far as Kilroy's keyless quests go, the unid value (down to 32-33g ish) of the first of the 3 chests has been the only one proven so far to have a low enough level to drop q8 max swords, shields and foci.

yea I know just thought it was semi interesting as its the only item with Q8 I've seen from chest 2&3. Have you seen other q8 staffs from them?

Ahh, gotcha. I have, but they are always low dmg like that one. They do have potential though of having a q8 11-21 HSR 20% Ghostly Staff (<<<<Mind Blown>>>>>)

I know this isn’t the right place, but no idea where it would be. But as you guys are talking about kilroy chests, does it matter whether you are with 1 or more actual players for the amount of drops from those chests? I remember they are able to drop 1-3 purples iirc, but I only seem to get 1 constantly. That is with just me or my alt and my main (so 1-2 accounts). Of course I flagged the heroes out of range!

When i used run killroy for few hundred runs, with just 1 account i had regualrly more than 1 purple, so definetly is possible, maybe theres some antifarm code etc if u do it toomuch

Hum, i don't understand, on Kilroy Dungeon, chests drop Ghostly Staves?? Because after +6000 chests "Ghostly" on NF/HM no drop 11-21 q8 purple with HSR 20%. Now i test kill Dryder on Mission: Gate of Pain, NM and HM for stats. I drop low req, but on blue only (Eternal Bow, Storm Bow, Eternal Shield, but not Ghostly staff low req on blue don't see that).

I can truly confirm that Ghostly OS Purple Staves drop from the Kilroy Quest in SF.

@Neutral_CH I can confirm personally that ghostly staff and storm bow drop from kilroy. I keep a list of everything I've had from there and fow / uw keyless (including the salvage items).
Found a pic of storm, still looking for the ghostly. Perhaps somebody else has?

That it would be the link of the drop? These are not the type of monster nor the dungeon, the geographical place. What logic fits this drop via Kilroy+Ghostly?
We can’t trust the wiki for ghostly anyway.

The keyless chest in kilroy / fow / uw seem to drop everything possible in every area of proph. I've had Magmas shields, eternal bows, shining mauls, summit axe, dwarven / giant slayers hammer from fow and shadow staffs, stone summit shields, chaos axe from UW and dozens more surprises I wasnt expecting. Kilroy is the one ive done the most of and its pretty clear to me the drop pool is everything. Personally I think all the keyless chests can drop everything, hence my list keeping to try figure it out

This is not related to the one in EOTN, this is specifically the one in Prophecies Sorrow's Furnace.
There are 3 keyless chests that pop up during this quest that only contains purples.

Throwing in my 2 cents of proof for chaos axes. Haven't had a storm bow or ghostly yet, but I've not done it all that much either.
And this beauty because why not (these were back to back runs, can see the chaos axe in my inventory still).

White and blue yes, also one gold from mauseleum used to excist (14st gold) , gold or purple never dropped other than mauso

As far as I know there's only one gold OS Tribal Axe (with inherent dmg mod) and that's a q9 14^stance that dropped from The Mausoleum back in the days. No clue where it is now though, last time I saw it, it was in the hands of mr animal fighter.
So yes, one does exist, but unfortunately you can't obtain it in any other way than buying (unless I've missed something). Please correct me if I'm wrong
Edit: Ah you beat me to it haha! And yes white & blue still drop as Pleikki mentioned.

Yes, Dead Staves still drop in both OS and Insc.

Yes, there is a few other post items in pre.
I know of a pre nerf -50 cesta and a purp chaos axe, among others, but, again, having/using them is a nono.

Nah, crysta never dropped from foes and max q7 items didnt drop from chests that dropped crystas

It is probably not the exact right place to ask - but where were the keyless chests that everybody had been running? is there an old screen? (I have personally stayed perma pre for the first year of my gw career and thus didn´t participate

)Ppl ran two chests in Dreadnought's Drift, i never heard from chest in kryta, or seen even image of q7 15-21 that sounds bit fishy to me
Also id think kryta wouldnt drop max items if one did excist, like it doesnt do now
