I call this the 2005 special, for those that remember playing around then there weren't all these crafters, collectors, greens, and inscribable items. You just used the best thing you could find until you found something better. Ironically a lot of those stop gap items are now prenerf and quite rare.

I'm always prepared for whenever an overgrown cat steps out of line. Whether in Pre-Searing or Post, I stay ready to put them in place.
Huge thanks to Red Fireball for passing along that beauty, its already seen many a battle.
This was one of my first proper sets and to this day I still love it. I can't imagine these two items weren't intentionally designed together. They fit so well!

The sword comes from Kairi and the shield was given to me by Coast ? long ago
These are my Enchanted Warrior Sets.
Same Shield, however set depends if I am using a Sword or Axe build.
Since I have a -1HP handicap on shield, thought it would be fair to have the same on the weapon.
If I want and extra handicap, I will use the Purple GDA for -1% DMG.
Not nearly as insane as some of these sets posted here. But this set pleases me.
I know you like it old-school, so I try to keep it classic.
Over time this has really grown to become my favourite set. No further explanation required.

Hi, it is not a collection, but a selection of weapons for the PVE with my main Monk. Heavy Pack + 2 weapons in hand (F1, F2, F3 or F4). I have not touched anything for a long time (2009-2010) satisfied with that
Just add last for "Eternal theme", Eternal Bow - Longbow version 
. Maybe now, search/buy 2 last Ghostly Staff not inscriptible version (smite, DF).

/bonus weapons, possible talk Tolkano with weapons bonus equiped for change skin. The bow of /bonus of EOTN preco. is a longbow. Not possible longbow with PvE eternal bow. Just for pull mobs
(and in the past, possible with PvP caracter, equiped with /bonus weapons, add one mod. Example, shield with: -2ws +30hp +30hp. But now it's nerfed

To join the Mauso party but bring something a little different, here is my favorite "SET" of Purple Wands
It seems as though some of the people posting these “weapons sets” must have skipped or forgotten the Nightfall tutorial. Paragons use both spears AND shields, and using just a spear with no shield would be idiotic.
If those same people were referring the spear as being a mauso item and want to share it then it seems they have found the wrong thread as that’s not a set.
Honestly, nit picking scythes as not being a set is wrong (funny , but wrong). The game itself defines a two-handed weapon as being a "set" (see below). This argument is pointless. However, a solitary spear may be different story. Anyways, here are a couple of my ranger's favorite "Weapon Sets."
Since the anniversary update, I've enjoyed running through Sorrows Furnace with a spear build. Originally, "Together as One!" buffed a minion master's minion's damage and absolutely wrecked everything here in hard mode. The skill was then nerfed early on to only affect your heroes, but this build still works nicely running a bone fiend MM and buffing them with honor and "Go for the Eyes!"
If a scythe can be a "weapon set" than the singular term "weapon" is moot and everything even holding a shield can be classified a "weapon set". Obviously this is stupid conclusion and common sense says a"weapon set" = weapon + offhand dispute gw using a silly 1 size fits all terminology. buuuuuuuuuut everybody just gona post single items now so who cares 
It can be a double-hander, weapon and offhand, shield etc too. More than one if you must 😉

HoD sword and prenerf -50hp cesta, i'm jealous that's a great set !
Now slot some prenerf superior runes on your 55hp monk, and party like it's 2005 again !
